Some notes - The Aim is to show photographs of Lake District walks and views with just sufficient text to make sense of the route. Some pages have many photographs and may be slow to load as a consequence. Please have some patience. I have reduced the size of the files for quicker loading but tried not to compromise the quality when viewed on a normal computer monitor. If you would like a high quality copy of any photograph shown, please contact me.
Copyright - My photographs are 'open source'. I do not mind others copying them and using them. If they are used for improper purposes, then I may have to add restrictions in future.

Camera Data is included with the picture file. This is how I add timings to my walks. I do not keep checking my watch and making notes as I walk. You can check the details of any of my recent photographs for yourself by right clicking on the photograph and saving the picture to your local hard disk. If you use MS Windows, right click on the file and left click on Properties. Open the tab marked Details and you will be able to see all the information related to the photograph, which includes focal length of lens, shutter speed, aperture, film speed or sensitivity of the charge-coupled device and, of course, date and time. My camera is usually set to local time, BST in the summer and UTC in the winter but may sometimes be an hour wrong.
